Therapeutic Approach

I work from a pragmatic approach and therefore I utilise various individualised psychotherapeutic treatments. I am trained in Psychodynamic Therapy (short & long term), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) , Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and BrainWorking® Recursive Therapy (BWRT).

I believe psychotherapy complements rather than replaces religion, spirituality, traditional healing or even positive family or community support. My role is to provide an individualised process for personal growth and healing. I am a curious and empathic listener that will aim to best understand and assist you in a manner cognisant of your individuality and your socio-cultural context
